- In a way drinking and drawing was fun! The fact that I knew I wasn’t ever good at drawing made it fun. I just laughed at my drawing when I finished. I probably would do it in private where I didn’t have to share my drawing. I don’t like drawing in particular and found it more frustrating than the finger painting exercise.
- I do think the time I practice would greatly affect the outcome of my drawings. If I were to take 1,000 hours out of my schedule to draw and get constructive criticism for every iteration of drawings, I believe I could potentially get better!
- I’m a computer science major, and I think sketching would help me learn attention to detail. That every little detail of a sketch can affect the over all drawing. Just like in computer programming, every line, semi colon, or period makes a difference in the application. I believe I could use sketching to come up with beautiful simple designs or even logos for applications of any genre.
- Drawing is a language and can sometimes describe things not in words. However, some authors like J.K. Rowling can describe something in words that I believe the movie doesn’t do it justice. I feel like drawing is the premature form of written language. The first prehistoric cavemen drew to communicate. A lot of Chinese written words come from drawings. like the word water.
